The K9 Partnership was founded by Richard, whose career in security and professional dog handling spans more than twenty-five years.

Richard trained with Richard Timmis, founder of the National Training Inspectorate for Professional Dog Users (NTIPDU), developing the professional standards, operational discipline and attention to detail that continue to shape The K9 Partnership today.

Building on that foundation, Richard expanded his expertise into close protection, security management and medical response before establishing ProSec Medical Security Ltd. Over the past several years he has successfully delivered security and medical services across the UK, supporting sectors including construction, renewable energy, infrastructure and commercial projects.

The K9 Partnership was created to bring together experienced, trusted handlers and professional security dog teams under one specialist organisation.

Today we work with security companies, contractors and organisations across the UK, providing experienced handlers and dogs for everything from events and commercial premises to construction sites, vacant properties and high value asset protection.
